A bit of a tearful goodbye at the airport, 6 weeks away from the kids and Di will be hard to say the least. The kids gave me lots of helpful advice, "don't run into other bikes", "Look out for cars", "Don't hit a Kangaroo", "Don't let Granddad say anything inappropriate to any bikies", all helpful stuff. Well off to Christchurch again via Wellington then a short lie down then into the big plane to jump the ditch, for a day of bureaucracy to clear the bikes etc.
